Sparkling Star

The book that used the tutorial from states that these are stars, but I cannot un-see them being flowers. This I find very easy-to-make and very often-to-use earrings. Maybe that is why I have already made thousands of them.

Materials needed:
Beads of 2 or 3 colours;
Side cutting pliers;
Plastic wire;
Earring hooks.

Use this page from a Russian book of beaded jewelry as a tutorial:

Beadweaving Is My Way to Relax

These huge earrings take up much time to finish but the result is unbelievably gorgeous.

Here I want to share the pattern I used to make my first pair of Bohemian earrings, but experience comes and I can easily change the pattern and size now.

Materials and tools needed to bead this Bohemian Style Earring:

12/0 Glass seed beads;
8/0 Glass seed beads;
Nylon wire;
Earring hooks;
Side cutting pliers.

Star Motive Pendant

Here I am going to share an almost "super simple" way to make the Star Motive pendant. The result of my first trial.

And these are several pictures of a DIY tutorial taken from a French site.

You will need:
Seed beads of colour A, B and C - size R11;
1 wooden bead - 16 mm.

Follow the tutorial on these 12 pictures to make the two halfs like on photo n. 12.

 After the 2 similar beaded halves are ready, insert the wooden bead inside one of them, cover with the second half and connect.

Prepare your taste buds to a life-long deception

Here is a special treat for those who appreciate scented soap and hours of hand work. My very special friend Oksanka rises from a generation of soap-boilers who know what they are doing (to your eyes, taste buds and of course, the last but not least, - your skin).

Yummy! Aren't they a TREAT?

Spring-inspired beaded jewelry

It didn't take me long to make a cutie shortcut of what I already have.

My favourite lemonish beaded bracelet was "assaulted" by my kid who always grabs my hand as if he was about to fall down from a cliff. Anyways, the bracelet is repaired for the good times and is waiting for a proper outfit to come with.

A pendant, with what I define to be eastern motives, was never appreciated by me as much as it deserved, and finally found a new owner who, I hope, will appreciate it duly.

These bracelets are actually so easy-to-do that if I had 20 wrists I would definitely make a bracelet for each of them. Aren't they a find???

This beaded strand is not that easy, though.

My Tinkle-Twinkle earings that my mom loves so much, which actually don't make any tinkling sound and are almost void of shine.

Here it is, my beaded work of handmade art.

Welcome!

Welcome to Tinkle and Twinkle!

Here comes the intro:

Yeap, the picture talks for itself. I am one of those billion jewelry makers who thinks she has a special gift. Well, you are to judge.
